Ya call that dancing?

What you don't see is Elliot jumping straight off the back of the truck like it's nothing.

This should be a post about birthdays, but really it's all about Amelia

Oh yeah, happy birthday Papa, Grandma, Scott and Kristen...

Do you know why I love you?

Elliot: Mommy, do you know why I love you?
Mommy: No, Elliot, why?
Elliot: Because I love you so much.

:)

Ian and his maps

The day that Ian got a gash in his leg at summer camp, he ended up coming back to work with me that day. To keep himself occupied he drew fabulous pictures on oversized paper stuck to my office door and wall...I liked them so much they are still hanging. Notice his north arrow on his treasure map...

How Do I Explain This?

Elliot still isn't convinced that Mommy does not have a peanut, and also has no idea how Mommy pees. Ever curious about other people going potty, says to Mommy as she is on the potty....
"Why are you peeing out of your butt?"

Warms my Heart

Elliot: Mommy, do you know why I love you?
Mommy: No, why do you love me?
Elliot: Because I love you soo much.

100% Ian

Ian asked to play with his golf clubs the other day out back. The next thing I knew, Lonnie told me to look out abck and see what Ian had done. He said it was 100% Ian. And it was. Ian loves to build and create things. Lonnie and I think he will do great things when he grows up, though Lonnie would love him to be an architect. I asked him what this was and he said it was his machine. Notice the golf set in his 'machine'.

Ian made this in school today. He was evidently the only one in his class that successfully created something. And he didn't even want to eat it (yes, they used gumdrops and marshmallows for the corners).

Early Bday Presents

Ian asked for and received a red set of golf clubs for his birthday from Papa and Grandma. He loves them. He likes them to be near him when he is playing or watching TV. He also loves that he can wear them. Let's hope he actually likes to golf.

Elliot got a set too, though I don't think the passion is there quite yet.

Ironbirds Game

We went to one of our favorite places: an Ironbirds game with fireworks! We had lots of goodies: kettle korn, peanuts, and cinnamon glazed cashnew nuts (hot out of the oven). Not our usual seats since we didn't have the company tickets, but they were still good. We were second row from the field on the third base foul line.

Couldn't have asked for a better picture with Ferrous.

Elliot acted silly for our arm shot picture.

Ian posed near Ferrous. See our great seats.

And they each got a game ball from the umpire. Yeah, no fights! I almost caught a ball earlier in the game, but the kid on front of me jumped backwards over the seats to catch it.

4th of July

We ventured up to Bel Air for the 4th of July to watch the parade and see the fireworks. Seemed more logical to go to a 6pm parade before fireworks than a 10am parade in Towson. So we made it a night.

Now where are those fire trucks...

Oh, there they are. He was waving at all of them.

All smiles. There were lots of fire trucks.

Uncle Sam-antha. Yes, uncle sam has boobs.

I am constantly trying to get arm shots with my boys.

For those who think I take more pictures of Elliot than Ian, this is why. This is what he does when I try to take pictures of him.

Matching hats and sunglasses. See arm shots.

Thanks to Uncle Scott and his seemingly un-ending supply of glow sticks. You would think by now they would be gone, but we still have one canister left.

I can see you through my Xray cookie glasses.

End of Tball

Tball is now officially over (though there is still one makeup game this weekend). The rec league had a picnic for all the boys with lots of hotdogs and chips and even a blowup slide. The trophies had cool spinning baseballs on them.

Half of the the motley Cardinals crew with Coach Kevin. The two next to him are twins and I am convinced they are going to be professional ball players.

Future Fashion Model

Elliot was hamming it up while we were at the B&O railroad museum. So much so that he reminded me of a fashion model.

Not so much a fashion model. But still funny.
