We all Need a Little Time to Ourselves

Lonnie and I have been talking about what to do if for some reason we can't make it to the bus stop to get Ian in time. You know, if traffic is really bad and we are cutting it really close. If Daddy isn't there, Ian knows to go sit on the front porch. With the weather turning, I was worrying about him having to sit outside in the cold. So Lonnie and I discussed getting him a house key to keep in his backpack so he can let himself in until we get there.

Lonnie asked Ian if he was going to be OK with this scenario, to which Ian excitedly responded, "Ooh, I am going to get a lot of alone time."

We could all use some alone time.
